When I say “of all shapes and colors” I mean literally you can get a pumpkin the size of your fist, or one the size of the average boulder. Of course the most common shade of pumpkin is orange, but Banducci’s also offers white “Ghost” pumpkins and several varieties of gourds, from long bulbous green ones to stout star-shaped white ones. On top of that, these pumpkins are modestly priced! The smallest pumpkins cost around 1 dollar whereas the larger ones run around 8-12 dollars (and by large I mean huge). And all you have to do is simply grab a wagon and load it up with your choices within thousands of pumpkins! (Cash-only by the way, so stop by an ATM before heading out there).
On top of quality pumpkins, the patch provides great opportunities for getting some fall photos taken of your family in a wonderful atmosphere. A rather large pond breaks up the patch providing scenic reflections of the assorted trees and of course the pumpkins. Spanning the southern side of the pond is a bridge (also great for photography). For those without a camera or some spare cash they have a professional photographer available by appointment as well. And if you’re making a family day of it you can introduce your children to some of the various farm animals or get lost in a non-frightening but festive cornfield maze.
If you have the time, and you need some holiday decorations (Jack-o-Lanterns are my personal favorite) or you want to give your Christmas cards a little autumn flair, you can’t go wrong at the Banducci family farm.
